The ultimate patch for FIFA 16 is back, now updated for the 2024/25 season!

For fans of the most extensively modded entry in the FIFA series, scouser09 and the FIFA Infinity Team are proud to release Version 8 of FIFA Infinity Patch 16 (FIP 16).

This update takes FIFA 16 into the modern era, featuring new leagues, clubs, tournaments, players, and more. It delivers an updated and immersive Career Mode experience, ensuring the game feels as fresh as ever.

As with previous editions, it’s highly recommended to use a clean installation of FIFA 16 for the best results. Even if you’ve installed prior versions of FIP 16, a fresh setup is advised due to significant updates for the 2024/25 season. Don’t forget: if you plan to customize tournaments using the FIP Tournament Manager, do so before starting your Career Mode!

FIP Version Manager

Use to select the version of the patch you wish to play.

You can make backups of your current version, including customization.

Backup will include main DB, language DBs and compdata (tournament structure) files.

FIP Tournament Manager

You can customize what tournaments are available in career mode, there are additional options compared to the default career mode compdata.

There are also tournament mode compdata options which allow you to play international and club continental tournaments in tournament mode, some with real and random draw options. If you install a tournament mode only compdata set, career mode will be locked in-game to avoid crashing.

FIP Boot Manager

Use to assign boots to players. These assignments are saved to lua files and take precedence over DB assignments.

To add additional boots to FIP Boot Manager, edit FIFA 16\fip\boots\bootlist.txt and add a preview image in FIFA 16\fip\boots\preview\, PNG format. As usual, put the boot model and texture files in FIFA 16\data\sceneassets\shoe\.

FIP GK Glove Manager

Use to assign GK gloves to goalkeepers. These assignments are saved to lua files and take precedence over DB assignments.
